چکیده

Due to a rapidly growing population and economy, an increase in emissions from urban growth, industrial energy use hurt the environment’s health. This research examines how tourism, population, income, renewable energy, electricity consumption affect carbon twenty-six low-income countries. There is no cross-sectional dependence (CSD) problem, so quantile regressions (QR) generalized method of moments (GMM) are used. Results show that environment obtaining benefits because tourism. CO2 rising per capita consumption, growing. can be lowered by using more economy faster. Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) also valid Thus, increasing income will not harmful environment. Similarly, GDP benefit The government focus on sustainable Policymakers may convince people resources grow tourism industry. study recommends reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote good for environment, take initiatives limit energy.

Investigating the effect of renewable and non-renewable energy consumption on social welfare in developing Asian countries: Quantile regression approach

Energy as one of the factors of production along with labor and capital has an important role in development and social welfare. Due to the pollution of non-renewable resources and its negative impact on welfare, the use of renewable resources can improve social welfare by eliminating pollutants. In this study, the effect of renewable and non-renewable energy consumption on social welfare of de...

Analysis of the simultaneous effects of renewable energy consumption and GDP, using Dynamic Panel Data

In the recent years, renewable energy sources are an important component of world energy consumption. GDP is one of the main measures of a country’s economic activity. Most of the studies examine the impact of renewable energy consumption on GDP with single equation model and the others use dynamic panel data. Since the Granger causality analysis’s findings of this paper establish bidirectional...

State-level renewable electricity policies and reductions in carbon emissions

A wide range of renewable electricity policies has been adopted at the state level in the United States, but to date there has been no large-scale, empirical assessment of the effect of these policies on carbon emissions. Such an assessment is important because scholars have pointed out that increases in renewable electricity will not necessarily lead to declines in carbon emissions. We examine...

Impact of Using Renewable Energy on the Cost of Electricity and Environment in Northern Cameroon

This paper determines and compares the cost of energy (COE) of various hybrid systems for several off-grid facilities in North and Far North regions of Cameroon by integrating renewable sources and/or storage with diesel generators. The estimated annual energy production by solar PV systems and wind turbines is also discussed. The aim is to study the application of a high penetration renewable ...
